Reiki...is a Japanese word meaning 'Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy.

Reiki energy vibrates at a frequency at which the physical body can begin to remember it's true nature--that of perfect ,divine health.
Once remembered, the physical form raises it's vibration to meet the memory and re-create that experience.
Sekhem-Seichim are sibling energies to Reiki.
Seichim(pronounced Saykeem) is an Egyptian word meaning 'Living Light Energy.'
It resonates at a higher vibration that activates our upper energy centers.
The channels of communication with the spiritual realms open, and healing on the soul level can begin to take place.
This energy makes it easier for us to connect to our inner guidance and recognize the voice of Spirit in our lives.
Sekhem(pronounced Saykem) is an Egyptian word meaning 'Power' or 'might.'
This is a broader vibration, encompassing and enveloping both the Reiki and Seichim energies. It might be compared with a musical octave, whereas the latter two energies might be considered to be notes on the scale. Together , these two sacred electromagnetic energies combine to create a complete healing light system.
I am working with traditional Usui Reiki ENERGY,'Tibetan' in origin, and the Sekhem~Seichim ENERGY stream, 'Egyptian' in origin."

I am teaching from this text, but the Wisdom I have been blessed with comes from a very eclectic selection of books and people ,who have taught me.
My best teacher has been my LIFE EXPERIENCES.I would like to begin by saying that Reiki is the kind of thing, where you can have a book or not~ The energies seem to have (be) an intelligence oftheir own!! There is no teacher like experience, but there is much knowledge being shared on the subject.
Once again, I recommend 'ALL LOVE' by Diane Ruth Shewmaker You may gain the knowledge from the studies , but you need the empowerment from a certified Reiki Master
There are no pre-requisites required for any of my classes,only that you purchase The Book I teach from ALL LOVE, come as you are
Reiki is not a part of any religion, but the search for information on how Master Jesus healed ,was the basis of Dr. Usui's quest~ Unable to attain ANY written record of this , he ended up in Tibet, as Buddah had also healed the body~ There a wise sage guided him on a vision quest ,lasting 21 days . He acquired the energy at that time.And took it back to Japan, where his quest had begun.
Basically Reiki clinics sprang up all over Japan~ And eventually to the USA where I live, by woman named' TAKATA'. She brought the energies to Hawaii, and then to the Mainland.
Takata trained 22 Masters in her lifetime.

The Five Reiki Principles

I - Just for today, I will not be angry.
Anger at others or oneself or at the whole world, creates serious blockages in one's energy. It is the most complex inner enemy.
Reiki is an excellent tool to remove anger blockages which have accumulated in the body over years, but it cannot remove the residue of current anger which occurs daily.
Letting go of anger. brings Piece into the Mind.
II - Just for today, I will not worry.
While anger deals with past and present events, worry deals with future ones. Although worry is not always a negative phenomena, endless worries may fill one's head, and each one bores a small hole in one's body and soul. While anger requires a focused Reiki treatment to remove obstacles, worry requires the energy to be spread throughout the entire body.
Letting go of worry, brings healing into the Body.
III - Just for today, I will be grateful.
Be grateful from your heart inward. Inner intention is the important element in this principle. Simple things as thanks, forgiveness, smile, good words, gratitude can improve others life and make them happy.
Being thankful brings Joy into the Spirit.
IV - Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
Support yourself and your family respectably, without harming others. Earn a respectable living, live a life of honor.
Working Honestly brings Abundance into the Soul.
V- Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing.
Honor your parents, honor your teachers, honor your elders.
Being Kind brings Love into the Will.
